Like toss the turtle

It's like toss the turtle, except less fun

Don't work

Apparently you're supposed to see 4 choices. Instead, I'm seeing nothing there. not even an option to go back to the main menu or leave the game. I have to restart to get back to the menu

Thank you for letting me know about this! I posted a longer response on the above comment, but know that I appreciate you pointing this out too and I'm very sorry about the issue!

I played throught I a couple times,

There are bugs everywhere, but for some reason I just kept playing. probably because of said bugs.

I like it

i kind of like it too :D

Work on it

All the art is quite good, and early on in the game I was expecting to have a fun game experience. Unfortunately, you only have 2 game mechanics. Running over pedestrians for points, and dodging cops. In the last level you have other "obstacles" but they're really not that different in concept.

There isn't too terribly much incentive for getting points, dodging cops is boring once you learn how to do it right. It's also boring when you haven't learned how to do it right.

If you want to see this game concept done correctly, see the Charlie Sheen-Winning game at http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view /564450

Also, It's very hard to conceptually understand where you are on the street. It appears as though you're constantly running down the middle and tilting this way or that, rather than actually moving across the lanes.

I got bored quckly

The game looks fine, and it does what It's supposed to. I got as far as the bathroom before I decided to quit.

Essentially you're clicking on things until they work. You should find a way to keep the player more engaged.

It's Bejeweled

It's pretty much a clone of Bejeweled. Which itself is probably a cone of something else.

Also, when you select a piece, you can't tell. Perhaps you should highlight pieces you've clicked on

meh

I give this submission a 2 for "nothing too new or interesting" because, well, u know.

Jeffyx responds:

Oh. Well I rated cannon assult alpha 5/5 but ill think otherwise next time you upload.

Kinda reminds me of something

Is it just me, or does this game kinda remind you of the old diablo, with the way you keep venturing deeper into one dungeon

Great game, okay balance

the reason I give this an 8/10 instead of a 9/10 or 10/10 is because of the clicking. I find that clicking on books takes up most of my time, and I think I would enjoy myself more if I didn't have to.

I've just beat the game on nightmare mode

The build I finally used to get past the last two levels is

The two toys I chose were the illustrated book, and the smart alien. I was lucky enough to random babies, doll houses, slime catapult, and blocks.

First I rush out 3 books, before anything begins, then I place slime catapults in the second column from the back when i see fliers, and i put doll-houses in front of ghosts as far up as possible.

I try to get 4 books, situated in the 2 middle squares and the top and the bottom of the back row, I fill the other 2 slots of the back column with smart aliens. This gives a basic attack for every row (tears apart bogeymen)

Bogeymen are essentially ghosts until they see one of your towers, so I like to block them as far back as possible, any tower will do, but wall type towers are the best. Make sure you have all your ghosts covered if you try to block with dollhouse.

Try to keep a wall in front of the witches, it keeps them from killing your shit.

Replace stuff that skeletons kill.

use babies in emergencies, toy cars and double dinos help too.

If you keep it up, you can make it to the end of the round I find that second-to-last is the hardest one.
